A side view of the castle from the secondary carpark. Notice the real working cannons to the right!

The view of the castle from the bottom of the garden. While still a young garden Pam and Kelvin hope to produce a stunning landscape for visitors to experience.

One of the four main towers in the front wall. Construction is currently underway to allow visitors a view from the top.

The castle is visited by bus groups and dozens of cars everyday. There is ample room to turn around and park, whether you drive a car, bus, or motorhome.

Notice the effect on the castle walls as the rain slowly drys.

The Great Hall

The fake book case contains hundreds of titles and has proven so popular with people trying to find their names that plans are already underway for another!

The great hall can seat dozens of people at one time.
The Castle is not only a fantastic venue for childrens birthday parties
but is also great for people of all ages.

The Toy and Doll Collection

The Royal Albert plate collection on display in the castle is one of the largest in New Zealand with over 400 different patterns.

Our large train display has proven to be out most popular. With over 25 meters of track it can sometimes be hard to pull the kids (or Dads) away.
